Estimate only. MP2 dividend rates are declared annually and can change. This calculator prorates each annual rate monthly, credits dividends at the end of each projection year, and does not account for transaction dates, posting delays, fees, or Pag-IBIG Fund's official account-level computation. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Pag-IBIG Fund.
How to use the MP2 calculator
- Enter any initial savings and how much you’ll save per month. You can also set a different amount for each month (the minimum MP2 remittance is ₱500).
- Set the rate assumption. Pag-IBIG declares the MP2 rate every year, so use a recent rate as a guide and try a lower one to be safe.
- Pick a dividend option: compounded until maturity, or an annual payout. Compare the two results.
MP2 basics
- Term: an MP2 account matures after 5 years.
- Tax-free: MP2 dividends are tax-free.
- Payout options: take dividends every year, or let them compound and collect everything at maturity. Compounding usually gives the larger total.
- Rates aren’t guaranteed: the dividend rate depends on Pag-IBIG’s yearly earnings, so treat the result as an estimate.
